Landmark Tourist Spot
Never failing to inspire awe, Truro Cathedral soars above the surrounding rooftops and dominates the city skyline. Built between 1880 and 1910, the cathedral was designed in the Gothic Revival style, which was fashionable during much of the 19th century. The site is noted for being one of only three cathedrals in the United Kingdom with three spires. Located in the middle of the city and surrounded by numerous shops and restaurants, the cathedral offers informative guided tours on a daily basis. Begin or end your educational visit at the on-site coffee shop, where you can enjoy a hot cup of tea and a light snack. Be sure to pick up a souvenir of your trip at the cathedral’s popular gift shop. Plan to visit Truro Cathedral during your Truro vacation using our convenient Truro vacation trip planner.

  • Built around the 1880's, Truro cathedral is beautiful. The Christmas tree outside is always worth visiting, this year covered in fake snow. Admission is of course free with an optional donation £5-10 I believe, and you can currently help to refurbish the cathedral by sponsoring a slate tile for the roof with your own message for either £5 or £25. Worth visiting!
  • Love this place. Such a warm and lively place. With quiet niches for personal reflection.
  • A breath taking building in the heart of city.
  • Stunning place absolutely visiting again
  • Worth a visit
