See over 100 species of animals at Jersey Zoo, a conservation center with a focus on rare and endangered creatures. The zoo's 13 hectares (32 acres) feature landscaped parkland, water gardens, and native habitat areas in a more natural setting than many zoos offer. Stroll through exhibits dedicated to Asian birds, rain forest creatures, reptiles and amphibians, gorillas, orangutans, lemurs, and more. Add an animal encounter to your visit to spend 30 minutes with an animal of your choice in an area that other visitors can't access. Or, sign up as "keeper for a day" to assist a zookeeper for an entire working day. Make sure you book these special experiences in advance, because they fill up quickly. If you want to spend more time in the environs, camp for the night in one of the zoo's well-appointed glamping pods. Plan to visit Jersey Zoo during your Trinity vacation using our convenient Trinity online trip itinerary builder.

  • Small and compact conservation park. Super collection of frogs and birds. Rather special gorilla exhibit too. Such a wonderful legacy of Gerald Durrell. Food at cafe simple but good quality...

  • What a fabulous day we had there today. So calm and relaxing no wonder the animals are content. . The admission fee is very good. The talks were very informative without being boring. The are no gimmicks on your travels through the zoo. We hired a mobility scooter ahead of time for me which was very useful but although the park is not flat it is not too steep either. Definitely one of the best types of zoo I like. Would highly recommend coming here.
  • This place is a gem! Never been to a zoo like it before. It's push for conservation is inspiring as well as the story behind the park. The staff are all enthusiastic and clearly passionate about animals. A wide range of talks, animals and educational texts. A great price and I'd highly recommend anyone going to Jersey to check it out. Definitely a must see while you're there
  • Absolutely wonderful, so many animals and birds to see. Some of the enclosures are filled with quite dense foliage but they're all for the animals rather than to make it easier to see them. The tamarins are allowed to run loose and can right past us within a metre. Loads of knowledgeable staff and plenty of information boards.
  • Great place to bring the children and priced really well including the gift shop. Plenty of places to sit and have a picnic and the animals are really amazing and my young boy loved the gorilla's. Can spend a whole day here easily.
  • This is not one of the better zoos me and family have visited although I must say the gorilla and orangutan enclosures are fantastic. but as with all zoos you feel a bit cheated when animals are not in there enclosures and you find yourself looking at over grown vegetation especially when you've spent over £50 on entry.
