  • Enjoyed a nice couple hours there. Good if you want to have a nice relaxing stroll around the lake. 2km walk all around and it's bike friendly too. The geese I found to be a bit of a nuisance. Kids seem to enjoy themselves. There is a small play area, a Visitors centre and also an area for refreshments. Wheel chair friendly. Parking can be a bit of a squeeze on busy days with some people parking on the main road. Overall, i had a nice few hours and the weather helped tremendously.
  • A lovely 2km walk around the lake/pond. Plenty of ducks, geese and swans to feed bird food to from the convenient cafe/shop. A good size playground and car park as well. Accessibility is good to. What's not to like apart from sporadic weather conditions.
  • Very invigorating walk around the lake. Paths are clean and well kept as is the lake, with new trees having been planted in some areas. Cafe where we enjoyed a coffee was also spotless and there was plenty to choose from if you fancied something to eat. We'll worth a visit
  • Well-maintained park with a good mile-and-a-half walk around the lake. Nice cafe with a range of hot and cold drinks, along with snacks and meals. Good view of the lake from the cafe. Good play area for children
  • Good walking different routes to take, nice views and plenty of ducks for company. Cafe ia good with friendly staff , great cakes and different specials through out the year, love it here and keeps you fit as well x
