  • Just a beautiful lake in stunning surroundings. There are too many things to write about and I recommend you take a look at the website or Facebook page. Food is relatively cheap and the cafe is modern and clean. Parking is easy. Places for kids to play safely available. Walking the circumference of the 2.5k pond is easy as the tarmac path is wide and flat. Very friendly atmosphere and walking is a pleasure. Downside, dog walking is only by leash which is acceptable but there is nowhere to let a dog run free which is a shame, apparently a council dog patrol monitor the park an give out 100 pound fine without warning if the dog is off the lead, although I have never seen this happen. The paths can get very dirty with geese dropping everywhere and doesn't get cleaned very often which is a shame. The cafe opening hours are short and is closed by 18:00 in the summer which seems a bit mad. The lake is really worth a visit for everyone, it's quiet, big and scenic, take a camera as the amount of wildlife is amazing.
  • Parc Bryn Bach is the most pleasant and beautiful place to visit. I travel from Risca regularly to take in the atmosphere of this area and believe me it is well worth the mileage. The Centre has Staff that put themselves out to please you and cater for your needs. Food is always well presented and will be hard for any other catering premise to topple their excellence. Well done Parc Bryn Parc you never fail to please us.
  • Fantastic place for walks and cycling. Good for families and children. Lots of activities and with a visitors centre, cafe and toilets. Highly recommended.
  • Great place! Really nice atmosphere inside with a log fire! Warm and cosy particularly on cold winter days!
  • Lovely place for walking. Very scenic. Plenty of parking and excellent visitors centre/restaurant
