intu Trafford Centre, Trafford
(4.2/5 based on 1,800+ reviews on the web)
With hundreds of different stores, intu Trafford Centre is the second largest shopping center in the United Kingdom. It also houses the UK's busiest cinema and Europe's largest food court. The mall features an unorthodox style of architecture--it's definitely not a generic shopping mall! The 1930s-themed, 1,600-seat eating area, incorporates designs from China, New Orleans, Egypt, and Italy. There are four main areas located across two floors: Peel Avenue, Regent Crescent, The Dome, and The Orient. The design allows equal access for visitors from both sides of the mall. • It's a good place to shop, particularly if it's cold or wet as it's all under cover. Set on two floors, it's flat so good for prams or wheelchairs. Good free parking facilities. Plenty to do here incl...  more »

  • One of the best shopping places to visit in Manchester! If you're travelling other than taxi or a private car, like bus, it may be a little tedious to get there but one should visit! It has very kind of brand. From local to exclusive! The food hall is also well spread, contains various outlets!
  • Large out of town shopping centre. All the chain stores we know and love. Can end up parking a few hundred metres from shops on busier days, but parking is free across the site. M60 hideously busy anywhere near rush hour, as it opens at 10am probably not a problem for most, but nipping in here at lunch time from the city centre might be an issue.
  • Great atmosphere as you walk through. There are a wide variety of shops were you can get almost anything your after. The choice of restaurants is also impressive with some great places to eat. It is very busy around the christmas period however so if you don't like hectic crowds I would avoid it during this season. Overall I would say it's the best indoor shopping centre the north west has to offer.
  • Has everything! One of the biggest bonuses is free parking in abundance! Many happy memories/events/shopping trips spent here!
  • Always clean and tidy. Staff helpful and knowledgable. Good selection of stores and free parking. Although the car parks get very busy I've always found a parking space.
