  • We all loved it here. So wonderful these breeds are being looked after. Went with my partner and 16 month old. Parked at Totnes train station which is the closest you can drive to the farm. You pay for parking. A short walk brings you to the steam railway platform, which is lovely to look at or catch a train from! This place is kept looking fab by volunteers! You cross the tracks to get to the farm. There are owls, poultry, goats, sheep, red squirrels, ducks and geese etc. You can get in the pens with some of the animals which the kids love, and there's a petting zoo. There is a cafe/picnic area, the cafe is reasonably priced and good quality. Overall a great time had by all!
  • We had a lovely half day here. It advertised on the website a day of fun but there's no way I could entertain my three kids her for a whole day. There just simply isn't enough for them to see and do. But it is a wonderful place and well worth a visit. They particularly loved stroking and learning about the owls.
  • Lovely place to take the kids, small but reasonably priced.... Def not an all day trip! Situated right next to the steam railway, you are sure to see several trains as you walk through the station and farm. Parking is a fair walk away in the train station carpark and toilet facilities are situated over the tracks on the station platform. Nice cafe attached serving cold food, cakes, ice cream and hot/cold drinks, very reasonably priced. Nice trip out if you don't want to be out all day.
  • Nice place to take children. Not very big, you can see the animals and have some food in a couple of hrs.
  • Lovely visit. Right next to the railway so it's a double whammy, trains and animals. Really well cared for animals by staff who clearly take their job seriously. Great for young children, families, animal lovers.
