  • Great when it's a fine afternoon. Fantastic ploughmans and great for kids. Lovely to see such rare breeds. Feeding the red squirrels is a must!
  • Decided to go here for my daughters 2nd birthday as she loves animals. The farm is small but has lots of chance to get close to the animals. It only took us about an hour and a half to see everything ...  read more »
  • We visited the farm in conjunction with going on the railway! We had a really lovely lunch in the cafe sitting outside in the sunshine and then were really surprised when we went inside to find such a...  read more »
  • My 1 year old son loved this place. Its overpriced for entry fee on how much there is to see though.
  • Kind of tucked away, but worth it if you can find it. Great for kids.
  • Enjoyable afternoon was had by all. Loads of cute animals which you can go in with and feed with the free bag of food that the staff give you on admission. Fascinating being up close to the owls and their handler. The centre is quite a long way from the suggested car park so be prepared to walk some distance (unless you come by train then you can just step off the platform to the rare breeds farm). Will defo be going again.
  • Spent 2 hours to find the bloody place. Ran over a bird and nearly a man too (on purpose) just got here and it is average although it does not make up for the fact we had to trek for hours on stony country roads and wasted money on petrol. I advise to get decent directions from a person you trust before attempting to complete this assault course of a journey
  • Hidden away, but worth the walk. Its all outside, so pick a dry day! Very friendly and relaxed with lots of different animals.
