  • Lovely grounds but upkeep does not compare with National Trust. Perhaps it was because we visited out of season.
  • Some really great studios provide original crafted products and designer art from various excellent local entrepreneurs. We particularly liked the products of 'Cathy Hilton Artisan' - great presents!

  • Lovely little village to walk around. They have a fab handmade chocolate shop. Also some great little gift shops.
  • I like the shops but this also has a bit of History for Carey relations. The church is a lovely treasure as well. The cafe in the house is nice also. The village is a short walk across the estate grounds past the cricket pitch.
  • Such a wonderful place to spend some time. Beautiful gardens, magnificent Court and Norman Church, peaceful and tranquil.
  • Lovely house with cafe and craft centre. Cafe looks out over the large green at the front of the house. Craft centre of glass blowers, metal worker, wood workers, painters, soap maker, chocolatier etc. Sadly the children's play area is rather run down but it is a charming little place.
  • This place is lovely. The grounds are great to take the kids for a picnic and to explore. We got married here in Aug 2015 and it was a lovely day with great weather.
