  • This was our second visit after visiting a few years ago. There were some very small changes that were made but nothing major. It was still nice to see all the exhibits and the collection that had bee...  read more »
  • Very interesting place a very eclectic mix of items to see very well put together. Definitely a good visit interesting for children
  • Excellent value for money, large number of exhibits, allow plenty of time. Much more to see than you first think.
  • An excellently made victorian 'street' with so much more. The ground is as advertised a cobbled street with furnished period shop windows to look through, then it's upstairs to see how home living was before going through the world war 1 trenches. We went expecting to be mild amused, but left having really enjoyed ourselves and thinking that the ticket price is cheap for what is offered. Would highly recommend this to both those with a love of history bit also to families or people who just want to reminisce about better days.
  • If you have not been, you must visit Bygones. Don't be deceived into thinking it is small due to its outward appearance, it is HUGE inside on multiple levels. One of the most fascinating few hours i have ever spent. They really do capture the atmosphere and there is so much to see and do.
  • It is well worth going to see if you are in the area, don't be put off by the small shop front its bigger inside than expected
  • This is an Aladdin's cave with so much to see. The Victorian museum is full of authentic items dating back to the 1890's and very atmospheric. If you are a model train fanatic you'll love this place. There are also many other fascinating displays including items from First and Second World Wars. It's one of those those places you could spend all day in and still not see everything. Not to be missed if you're in the area.
  • Great friendly reception,Amazing trip back in history, one for the whole family.
