Trip Planner: Europe / UK / Scotland / Scottish Highlands / Lochaber / Fort William / Torlundy / Nevis Range Mountain Resort
Choose your adventure at Nevis Range Mountain Resort. Take the gondola to the top for skiing, snowboarding, or sledding in winter and mountain biking in summer. In warmer weather, you can also negotiate a high-wire obstacle course, ride a zipline, and take a guided fly from the paragliding center. At any time of the year, stop by the Snowgoose restaurant and bar for a meal and panoramic views of the region. If you prefer to experience the mountain without any boards or wings, take any of the 40 km (25 mi) woodland trails, which are ranked by difficulty. Stop by the Mountain Discovery Center to learn about the mountain habitat and wildlife. For locally crafted gifts, visit the onsite shop. A visit to Nevis Range Mountain Resort represents just the start of the adventure when you use our Fort William road trip planner to plot your vacation.

Nevis Range Mountain Resort Reviews
What a great thing to do.. Great value and definitely worth it. We went up in the pouring rain with no views and got soaked doing a little walk but managed to warm up nicely in cafe after. The clouds ... more »

The Nevis Range gondola is a convenient and fun way to reach the Nevis range. The upper station is located at about half the height of Ben Nevis. It takes about ten minutes in each direction. In the w... more »
There are a few marked trails around the base of the resort to walk around aren't particularly long nor do they offer spectacular views. Worth heading up on the Gondola but it's quite expensive. Feels more like the place to go for mountain bikers (fantastic man made trails but definitely for experienced riders) or skiers in the winter months. Make sure you take some change for the car park - was £3 all day when we went and the machine doesn't give change.
Always a must for walkers and hikers this place is fab in any weather's but come prepared. Great place for all outdoor adventures and sports. Always come back every visit. A must do for anyone in the area you will love this place.
Grab yourself a cheats ride to half way up the Ben Nevis. The view is spectacular. It's family friendly, couple friendly and for people going with groups. One of the few things to do in Britain; climb the highest peak!
Set in beautiful countryside with stunning views from the top. Have a good cafe serving good food and beer. Marked lower as the gondolas on the lift only take 22 inch wide wheelchairs, mine is 27. They have a small wheelchair but I was not able to fit in it. Staff very helpful and tried to get me in but I waited at the bottom while my wife and son went up
Nice Place to visit for Gondola ride up to Ben Nevis. £14 adult for return ticket. and £16 for unlimited travel. Nice view from the top. The restaurant at the top is also good.

Where to stay in Fort William
A B&B along the high street provides access to pubs and cultural life. However, luxury hotels set among idyllic countryside are outside the city center. Consider a stay inside a refurbished historical building at one of the handful of guesthouses. less expensive lodging is also available in scenic areas within walking distance of the high street, or main street.
