  • A real insight into the Devonshire way of life, we spent almost 3 hours wandering around the exhibits, the children - 10, 7 & 6 where all engaged. Well worth the visit, as are all museums.
  • Big museum for a small town. Well set out. The Tivvy bumper is delight.
  • Has its own full size steam locomotive and other railway related artefacts. Lots of information about agriculture in bygone times and a large collection of farm carts. No refreshments on site but are readily available close by. Situated close to the bus station so could use public transport to get there.
  • It is a very friendly museum for all ages run by volunteers the are 15 galleries depicting the history of Tiverton it has a number of awards this is not a hush hush museum the is something for all ages to do. It is wheelchair friendly and the is a lift to the upper floor, part of the building is the old school and the is the engine of the last steam train that got closed down by Dr Beeching in a separate building in the courtyard. The are many things to keep children excited and interested whilst viewing what the museum has to offer it is closed during every January to do maintenance on the many exhibits
  • Very friendly welcome. Gave me the information I required & I was happy to purchase Christmas cards. I was then able to look around the photographic exhibition. Clean, warm & interesting visit.
