  • Fantastic views, lovely walled garden. Was blown away by the woodland park - reminded me a bit of Hobbiton - truly incredible. Didn't go into the main house and couldn't find kids playground but otherwise well worth a visit.
  • Really need a whole day to explore this wonderful place. The house, gardens and woodland walks are beautifully looked after (plenty of benches dotted around to just sit and absorb the stunning scenery and landscape). Plenty of picnic places but the cafe is clean and tidy and prices reasonable. Definately worth a national trust membership, shall be returning very soon.
  • What can I say? If you like Gothic, you'll love this. Beautiful inside and out. A real jewel of a house.
  • Gorgeous place to visit. Great for families, couples and also dogs!
  • Amazing large productive Victorian walled garden, splendid terraced formal gardens, woodland garden walks, impressive period room settings and small cafe. Gift shop and plant sales.
