  • Had a great day out here- went with my step-son and sister-in-law and all 3 of us enjoyed ourselves. Worth remembering to take some binoculars as well as your camera. Walked up to the beach and was su...  read more »
  • really enjoyed seeing the area, saw lots of birds and ducks and it seems to be a 'twitchers' (I think that's the term) paradise.
  • Was on holiday in the area and visited Titchwell 3 times. I explored 3 different areas of the reserve on each occasion. There are plenty of birds to be seen and other "nature", such as wetlands and wi...  read more »
  • Great place to visit. Good paths (wheelchair friendly), ample parking, shop, hides and of course the bird life.
  • Lovely spot to spend a day, lots of birds, great cafe for lunch, good shop for optics/books etc.
  • A food reserve with facilities. Entrance is free but there is a £5 car parking charge for non members. A public right of way goes through the reserve down to the beach with most of the hides branching off this path.when the tide is out there is a long stretch of mainly deserted beach to explore.
  • Visted with Nottingham Trent University Conservation Society (NTU ConSoc). Had a great day and saw a variety of birds including: Marsh harriers A lot of ducks Tits and finches galore (unfortunatly not a bearded tit) plovers (Little ringed and common) Snow bunting Had some very up to date and comfortable hides. One of the best managed reserves I have ever come across
  • Came down by coach with the Grimsby/Cleethorpes branch of RSBP and we all had an excellent day. I believe we saw 95 species between us. The reserve is well laid out with ongoing projects. There are also good toilet/cafe facilities, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I certainly hope we will be visiting again soon. It is a magnificent site.
