  • Read a number of positive reviews about this place prior to the visit which were all good. Unfortunately I found the visit somewhat disappointing. The Cafe was ok. Food just OK and surroundings a bit ...  more »
  • Well......what a great place to stop en route through the Wye Valley. Having recently walked across the Pyrenean range from the Atlantic to Mediterranean coasts, we decided to do a local 30kms walk in...  more »
  • Was expecting to see a train, even static, but there is just a carriage with an exhibition. A cafe, some tables, and some old wooden statues.

  • Best scones I have ever had! They were soft but did not crumble. Perfection. Wasn't too impressed with the cakes. I was expecting a proper tea room but it's more of a cafe with an amazing view of hills. Great for a sunny day. Lots of seating outside and it gets very busy.
  • I was lucky enough to have a surprise party at the old station in two of the carriages . It was perfect ! The location is one of my favourite anyway , we quite often have a ride out and stop for lunch or tea and cake , it is a perfect setting. I had afternoon tea at my party which was brilliant , the sandwiches and cakes were worthy of a top class hotel . The staff are always friendly and so helpful , nothing was too much trouble . I had a wonderful afternoon with all my friends and family , couldn't have asked for anything better . Thank you so much to all the staff for their hard work , much appreciated X
  • Well worth a visit. Nice cafe. Great play trails for the kids. Lovely grounds down to the river.
  • Fabulous views across the Wye valley make this a perfect place for breakfast on a sunny morning.
  • A lovely cafe set in a used railway station serving lunches and teas.
