  • Jules and I went walking on the beach and in the dunes of Holme-next-the sea earlier this year for an afternoon. It was raw, bleak and stunningly beauiful. The tide was quite high so the heavy lapping...  more »
  • Had reasonable weather for the time of year, sunny at times but still needed a coat and hat. Wandered for a couple of hours taking photos and enjoying the beach. Tempted to go back in the summer.
  • As a birdwatcher was rather frustrated the behaviour of some visitors. This is a Nature Reserve after all. That said, it is a wonderful place to visit, great wildlife and wide sandy beaches and great ...  more »

  • Beautiful, quiet, expansive beach. Great for exercising your hound(s) and / or the family. The place is teeming with wildlife and the little ones can beach comb if the tide is out. The nearby car park currently charges £3.50 for all day parking.
  • Dog-friendly beach all year round. Extensive sands as far as the eye can see. Lovely.
  • Never a dull moment out here, there's a lot of resident wildlife here all year round. Still functions as a fishing dock too.
  • Very beautiful place to go for a walk or take the family to the beach. Parking is very close to the water and it gets very busy. It costs £5 per vehicle.
  • Great for dogs and amazing scenery down to the beach!
