  • We enjoyed this visit, brought back some memories of the TV programme when we were young, a bit pricey for a family but had a good interactive area for kids.
  • This is a wonderful resource for James Herriot fans and also for those interested in social history and vet science
  • This is an award winning attraction, quite rightly so. Definitely worth a visit. . Lots of interesting facts about the Yorkshire vet that two films and TV series are based on.

  • Much bigger than we thought. Very interesting and informative and a reasonable price. Bring the price down to a fiver and you may get more visitors.
  • This place is fantastic as its worth the money and it tells the story of James Herriot author Alf Wight OBE. It also shows the characters in the series and also the studio inside where it was filmed. Definitely worth 5 stars.
  • Very well thought out attraction, a real slice of memories and an insight into the life of the man behind the books.
  • Very interesting, good for the kids too. Interactive activities.
  • Very good, lots to see, well worth the money, best part you could actually walk into the rooms, have a close up look at everything, many places cordon off the rooms. Film at the end was very interesting. Would highly recommend.
