  • We went with a group of 12 (you have to prebook) and it was all very well organised. The guides are cheery and relaxed and we had an informative and unrushed tour. The gardens are well looked after...  more »
  • I had not expected to be so impressed. From the moment we arrived it was professional but not regimented we were totally at ease. Due to Covid regulations our party was only 12 so that made it feel...  more »
  • Visiting Highgrove was absolutely stunning, exceeding my expectations. I'd advise driving if you can as it can be a little tricky to get to (trains+cabs).  more »

  • Fantastic experience, excellent value, amazing service, highly recommended. The walking is about an hour and three quarters. There are no opportunities to sit down but the pace is very gentle - my 81 year old father coped well with the tour. The fabulous lunch in the Orchard Restaurant is a worthwhile addition and a chance to take a break.
  • I believe a review should be fair highlighting the good, and, if necessary - the not so good. The gardens are a delight. I loved them! However - the guide, pleasant, polite and knowledgeable as she was - tended to be a little impatient. She tended not to allow some members of the group to catch up, causing them to miss out on information which she had already started to impart to those at the front. This was a group largely, but not exclusively, consisting of over 60s. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit - and highly recommend it for the gardens alone. However - the guides are absolutely vital, no tour can proceed without them - understandably so, for security reasons if nothing else. Ultimately FAR more good than bad - unquestionably. But I felt compelled to mention my concern. I thank His Royal Highness and His wonderful team for an inspirational experience.
  • A wonderful combination of the carefully constructed and the naturally random. Not manicured within an inch of its life as some gardens are, but rather left to its own untidy devices - whilst at the same time being almost architectural in its formal planning. A life enhancing place to visit, along with providing a scone to die for...
  • What a wonderful place to visit. Excellent service from start to finish. We had our little dog and they found us a shady place to park the car. Loved our walk through the gardens and enjoyed superb refreshments.
  • This is a beautiful garden if you get the opportunity to visit. It constantly changes and develops to incorporate new planting. I'd like to suggest you visit at different times of the year that way see something new each time you visit.
