The Dinosaur Park, Tenby

Categories: Theme Parks, Water & Amusement Parks
Inspirock Rating:
3.4/5 based on 550+ reviews on the web
More than 30 animated dinosaurs are ready to meet you at The Dinosaur Park. Realistically created based on the latest paleontological finds, the creatures along the dinosaur trail range from the gentle to the ferocious, including the celebrated Tyrannosaurus rex. Fascinating for older children and adults, the replicas may be a little too lifelike for those easily startled. The park also offers family fun rides, a games garden, and twice-daily fossil hunts in the indoor amphitheater. The Dinosaur Park is just one of the many highlights you can arrange to see using our online itinerary creator, Tenby Edition.

  • Extremely over priced cafe with a very poor menu, the food was the likes of Dino dippers and the chef managed to even over cook that! Manned rides were free but very basic, dinosaurs were very basic t...  read more »
  • As we visited at the beginning of October we didn't think there would be much to do but it filled 4-5 hours! The dinosaur walk was really good (I think for 2-12 year olds is the best age) - the path c...  read more »
  • Poor wheelchair access, poor facilities, poor food and messy eating area. Shoddy dinosaurs and overpriced. Useful play area for locals with an annual pass. Go to Folly Farm instead.
  • love the dinosaur park.. only thing i can put down is the food in the cafe its real bad... other then that its great there for the kids.
  • Fun for a couple of hours with a 5 year old. Its an outdoor place and has a trail walk so dress appropriate.
  • Awful. Paid nearly £10 for my three year-old to get in and he was too small for many of the rides, at least the ones which weren't padlocked up due to lack of staff. Signs said to ask a member of staff to open rides but we could only see a couple in the area, both really busy on other rides. Food menu insipid and massively over-priced (£4.30 for a cheese roll?!) and hygiene poor. Dinosaurs were terrible, one was being painted by an employee as we were walking round :-D ! Many things in a run-down state. We left after two hours due to boredom and hunger.
  • Went on a hot sunny day and the first thing that strikes you is that there is virtually no shade in the park. So when waiting in line for the rides you are stood in the hot sun for up to an hour. Many of the rides were broken or in poor repair. For example half the mini tractors in the tractor ride were not working. The food area was filthy with food all over the floor and rubbish everywhere. We waited for the dinosaur safari for nearly one hour which took all of 5 minutes. Safety in the park was not great - there are very few staff around to help or give advice. Overall, a very poor experience.
  • Far to expensive for what they offer the que's are long, our 4 years old son enjoyed the dinosaur walk in the forest went on a few rides using the 2p's they give us x4 of them to use on the rides. One of the rides we waited 15min only to be told that our son can't go on so we walked away to look around. Waste of money people don't go paying so much just for few rides and a soft play area dirty. One star to them for the dinosaur walk.
