  • This is a spacious castle with a few rooms to go into and a couple of towers to climb. There are some interesting displays with information provided to help you imagine life in the castle in the past.
  • We visited here as we had read it was good for dog walking. When we arrived very earlier in the morning, the staff were just opening up but really welcoming. They explained that we could take our dog ...  more »

  • An absolutely fantastic venue for weddings and also portrait photography. The variety of places to explore also makes Manorbier Castle a great family day out. The Cottage within the walls offers superb accommodation.
  • Perfect sized castle if visiting with little children. There's a couple of towers to climb for good views and rooms with displays. A good day out can be had in Manorbier since its proximity to a sandy beach with rock pools. For a good view of the castle, visit the church. Do check the timings on the website as they close if there is wedding.
  • Not much for a relatively high entrance fee. No information on the history of the castle or what life would have been like for it's inhabitants. Can easily walk around it with 30 minutes. Friendly staff and some nice views though.
  • Very disappointed when visiting in August 2016. After visiting many other castles in the area this would definitely have to be the poorest. Cost is too high for what's been done. The historic value has been lost with modern art hanging throughout (huge spiral spinning wind chimes) it clashes with the ambience and you lose all feeling of the castles history. There are a few mannequins on display however no real information as to their importance or relevance. As a guardian of such a historic site more needs to be done for educational purposes and not for a up market tea and wedding venue. If you want to sit in a park surrounded by art and pay for the privilege then this is the place for you!
  • A lovely old local castle. The remaining wall s are maintained and the grounds are nicely landscaped.
