More like a zoo than a farm Hoo Farm Animal Kingdom shelters animals, like emus and alpacas, from all over the world. Chat with the knowledgeable staff to learn about the specific traits of each species. Feed the more typical farm animals as you stop by the enclosures. Book an Animal Encounters experience to hold the more exotic animals, like a 4.3 m (14 ft) python and a meerkat. To top it off, let the kids pedal their own go-kart, take a pony ride, race ducks, or play in a barn. Went for the first time today for a Meerkat experience. Got to say it’s such a lovely place to visit! The experience was amazing and the staff are so attentive and friendly. The animals are so well looked after and the kangaroo trail is so nice to walk through. Would recommend to anyone. Great price for standard admission too.
We bought the Meerkat experience for our daughters birthday and it was brilliant! Arron & Tori were very knowledgeable & were great hosts making the experience even better. I would highly recommend this experience for anyone. The farm itself is geared up more for under 8's offering exposure to many animals & is just the right size for youngsters. Being able to feed some of the animals is fun. The sheep racing was hilarious the kids were amazed by it. However the cafe food is a little on the expensive side. All in all a great day out for the kids!
Much bigger than you'd think and loads of animals, not just the farm varieties. We took our own picnic so can't comment on the food but everything else was excellent. All the usual stuff you'd expect for kids - changing area, great play area etc We'd really recommend following round the guy who does the animal talks and meets - they were excellent and my 7month old loved getting up close to the animals, it really made it more of an experience for her! Then at the end of the day we won on the Ram National sheep race too - perfect day out! 😊
Bargain via wowcher. Really enjoyed the day and nearing the animals. Staff are very knowledgeable and eager to share that knowledge. We plan to take our grandchildren. I would really recommend it for a day out. Take lunch though or check that the tea room is open. It was closed the day we went not much selection of snacks in the fridge.
We went last week on a Wednesday with our 14 month old son. I don't know if it was because the summer has finished but it wasn't that good. It was pretty quite , animals were difgicult to see, not the farm's fault we know but place was pretty dead. Don't think will come back.
