We were there 2 hours, looked at it all. Not as pretty as i thought it may be. Well kept. Wouldn't have thought it really worth the £11 each to get in though.
Very lovely gardens with several separate areas. We enjoyed looking at the water mill. Very good shop with plants and interesting gifts. Disappointing cafe. The coffee should be avoided.

Superbly Stunning Location, I'd not visited before due to my disability, but I will shortly be purchasing a yearly membership... The gardens are amazing, Philip and the team have done some incredible things at Hestercombe. So peaceful and relaxing, it's a place to be experienced. We were there to complete the Taunton Mayor's official portrait, and we loved the simply superb backgrounds available, like the formal gardens, the lakes and the bluebell walk. Plenty of events throughout the year, disabled parking and you can hire a 4x4 tramper mobility scooter for £4 which will allow you to get to most areas of the gardens.. but worth booking ahead as it's quite popular. I would add it is suitable for most mobility scooters
Gorgeous grounds with long walks, lots of secluded areas to sit and relax. Waterfalls, trees, formal gardens, lakes, views. Not cheap to get in, but the yearly pass makes it great value if you are able to visit a few times.
Lovely gardens. Quirky and interesting, with a great atmosphere. Especially impressed with facilities and attitude to disabled visitors.
Hestercombe Gardens are stunning, always something different to see throughout the year. Great facilities as well. Highly recommend a visit.
Hi. Lovely place ! If I could have seen it . It is NOT suitible for scooters and I would think Wheelchairs either. Mine broke down on the steep hill but was kindly picked up by the staff buggy ,which I am most gratefull for. Good for people that can walk.
