  • We have been visiting Hestercombe gardens for many years and alway enjoy the varied walks around he formal and woodland gardens. Spring and Autumn are good for the woodland gardens, with spring bulbs,...  more »
  • What a lovely garden. I had visited before and been distracted by the fabulous formal garden, this time of year is less spectacular so we decided to look at the informal part. The lady where you pay i...  more »
  • So very expensive. Hestercombe is a nice garden for an afternoon visit but sadly not worth the money. Donating money is one thing, but expecting parents to fork out in excess of £50 per visit for thei...  more »

  • Awesome gardens! Around 90 acres of woodland and fields to wander around. Fantastic place to take the family, dogs welcome on a short lead. Definitely worth a visit!
  • Superbly Stunning Location, I'd not visited before due to my disability, but I will shortly be purchasing a yearly membership... The gardens are amazing, Philip and the team have done some incredible things at Hestercombe. So peaceful and relaxing, it's a place to be experienced. We were there to complete the Taunton Mayor's official portrait, and we loved the simply superb backgrounds available, like the formal gardens, the lakes and the bluebell walk. Plenty of events throughout the year, disabled parking and you can hire a 4x4 tramper mobility scooter for £4 which will allow you to get to most areas of the gardens.. but worth booking ahead as it's quite popular. I would add it is suitable for most mobility scooters
  • Expensive. Cascade not working and Turkish tent taken down. Borders past their best. Should be half price reduction.
  • Great place for a walk or to stop by the cafe for food or a cup of tea. Events for children and everyone throughout the year.
  • Brillant place to visit. Really wonderfull and magical gardens, and a great place to walk around.
