Tattershall Lakes Country Park Reviews
We arrived at the park made our way to arrivals. The staff was welcoming and friendly full of site information. Our check in took minutes. We then tried to find our log cabin. Along the way we spotted... more »
So we arrived on the Monday (4 nights Sun Holiday), after heavy rain, to find that the park is set on grass all the way through. I thought the caravans and parking spots would be on concrete. This mea... more »

Excellent holiday park. Stayed a week. Very impressed. Clean site. Nice staff. Entertainment was fun. Quiz nights great fun. Bar food and drink prices are extortionate though. Caravans meticulously clean. Nice welcome pack in caravan on arrival. Jar of coffee, packet of tea bags, sugar, bottle of white wine, 2 bottles of beer, 2 fruit shoots, soaps, shower gel, kitchen washing up cloth, sponge and liquid. Lovely towels on arrival too and beds made up. Wow. Well equipped caravans with en suite and tv in double room. Twin room a little small, should maybe have booked a 3 bedroom caravan. 2 teenage girls were a wee bit cramped. Cars on site should really learn to slow down a bit. Maniac drivers in this part of the country.
Loved it here despite the RAF camp next door and shocking entertainment/activities. The caravan was lovely and more than enough for the 2 of us. The water pressure isn't that great so showers took longer than usual. They do NOT tell you when booking that they are located right next to an RAF camp and from 9am every morning you will be woken by a horrible noise of massive jets flying over the park throughout the WHOLE day, EVERY day. The park was so nice and the lakes are stunning. Most staff were very friendly and helpful, some not so much but that's expected anywhere you go, although I thought a couple acted a little unprofessional around guests. We met some great people staying there which made our stay better! There isn't a lot to do for adults activities wise without children.. And the night time entertainment kinda sucked! Karaoke was the highlight of our week and it was only on the once out of the whole week! I don't class sat watching music videos in a bar at 9pm as entertainment, sorry. If you like to be in the outdoor, go for walks etc then it's perfect! The food was way too expensive for what it is but they had a shop on site much cheaper (not that anyone wants to cook when on a break!) and a pub next door which was SO MUCH BETTER than the food bought in the bars and also a bit cheaper! You do need to bring quite a lot of money to stay here as everything costs you, there isn't a lot to do free. There's also not a lot to do for small children/babies. I did have a fantastic time I just think they should look into better entertainment and activities for adults/couples.
We arrived to find out we had been upgraded, what a lovely start to our week , thank you. The staff are so friendly, the only complaint I could have was the lack of bar staff on most nights , felt very sorry for the lady in the top bar working most of the evening on her own! We came last year and didn't get to see any jets in the air due to fog, so I was amazed by this sight , and find it sad that people complain about this as the fight for our country and have to train some where, be proud xxx Thank you for a lovely week, see you next year. Please don't extend the site much more than you have , some of us like space to walk, and feel we can escape the rat race of town life 😆😆😆😆😘😘😘
Excellent holiday park with different kinds of holiday accomodation such as caravans, tents, log style cabins and sites for mobile homes. Although a large site it is very quiet. The amenities are great, there is loads to do for kids and the bars are good, we had a small problem with food service but a new restaurant manager was sorting that out. A good place to stay and visit the surrounding areas.
It was a nice sunny day and we sat outside of the restaurant with the kids (7,11,11,15,16). 2 eldest played pool and 3 youngest played in the park, Arcade and splash zone. Lots to do, very clean. Restaurant was big with a big screen playing music videos when we got there. Lots of outside seating areas over looking lake, with a man made beach area with sun beds. Drink/food prices were average for the area.
