  • This is a little bit off the beaten path and looks very unassuming when you arrive but as others have said, it's definitely a hidden gem. There is a wonderful collection of rescued animals, from meerk...  more »
  • A stunning family run centre with such interesting and personal feel to it. We had a wonderful morning visiting the centre, we event met the lady owner who was very lovely and kind.
  • Located in the middle of nowhere. Free parking on site. Took my 4 yr old son for a day out. All animals seemed well cared for. Even crocs onsite. Was a lot more here than I first imagined. Even a smal...  more »

  • Fantastic place for kids. Have a big reptile section and on a good day you can have a photo with a snake around your neck. Was the home to a huge crocodile that appeared in a James Bond film, but he died. Lemurs, exotic birds and penguins galore. But you do need a car to get there,
  • Fantastic experience and one has the impression that the animals are very well looked after. If I could make one very small suggestion. Give the beavers a nice fresh willow branch each day in addition to their bread and root vegetables. This will give the beavers some vital extra nutrients, show off their natural behavior to the children and help them keep their teeth worn down and sharp.
  • Lovely day. Children can enjoy feeding chicken, ducks and fishes. Time slots for handling animals ( snakes ect. ) 🖒
  • Bit of a hidden gem - we're only half an hour away but had never heard of it. The kids all loved the reptiles, held two types of snake and fed chickens. Merecats, racoon, owl - too many to mention. It's great value at £4 a child. We'll be back!
  • Brilliant collection of beasts - feathered, furred and scaled. Some good info provided - I would've liked to know a few more background stories of the rescued animals. Just an idea but they may even encourage people to make a donation? Great work overall! Do the beavers really exist though... ?
