  • I took my grandchildren to umberslade farm and they really had a fun packed day. Riding on horses, feeding the animals, going on the tractor etc. It certainly kept them occupied.  more »
  • Great day out. AM & PM schedule so you can see the animals, playground, pony rides, tractor rides, ducks, goats, pigs, lambs, chickens, rabbits, rats, guinea pigs. We had a birthday party here for our youngest & it was great value for money. You get someone taking the kids around and explaining what they do with animals. Then a private room for a party. Great farm shop for a proper sit down meal & nice gift shop.
  • Great visit for me and my 16 month old son. Lots to do although we didn't stay long so missed the tractor ride and various other bits but from what we did see the staff were brilliant - helpful and knowledgable and there are activities to keep small children entertained. We will definitely be going again and making sure we fit in all of the activities we missed out on this time around. The cost is also reasonable - my son was free as he is under 2 so it was just the cost of an adult ticket. I would definitely recommend umberslade farm.
  • This is a nice place to bring small children, a range of small animals (you can handle the rabbits, guinea pigs and chicks) and standard larger farm animals around the farm. There are two separate play areas depending on the age of your children. Bottom line is that my little one gets worn out from the morning excitement and has a good nap afterwards. The food isn't brilliant, I tried the millionaire shortbread and it was dry. They were kind enough to swap it but even the cupcake was was stale. Bring your own picnic is my advice but it is an enjoyable morning out.
  • Has been made better. Good variety of animals. There is only one person putting people through as you go in so a long queue at the beginning.
  • Good farm but not enough for all day. Similar price to other farms which offer a lot more so we won't be rushing back. On the whole though we enjoyed and it's got potential from looking at the work going on.
