  • What a brilliant 4 hours we spent here. Doesn't look like much from outside, but it is a tardis. Lots of planes and memorabilia. Simulator was free and really well explained, my husband didn't even crash! Would definitely recommend. I am not a big history fan, goal was it. John doing the high talk made it very interesting.

  • A very well presented museum and a true wealth of information to be had if one takes one's time. Very easy to spend two or three hours here and, if you fancy a break part way round, there is a very good coffee shop where you can sit and chat. For those with personal memories there is a very well kept garden of remembrance with benches available for quiet reflections.
  • Keep this place going! Keep coming back. My kids and hubby never get bored here. My hubby volunteers here now so he's even happier. Great for knowledge and history. This Charity is well worth the money and time. Look out for special offers and events. Have fun with the flight simulators and cockpit. Beautiful memorial garden. Air raid shelter. Lovely staff. Nice cakes in the cafe. Oh, and ice cream! !!!
  • A well presented museum with knowledgeable and enthusiastic staff. It has a niche market with its collection of first generation British military jets. I was visiting from the States and happened to visit the museum on my birthday, June 30. The Lightning simulator was without doubt the best birthday present that I could have wished for. Flying experience is required but the Lightning sensation was a whole new dimension for this old piston pilot. Thanks to all the staff.
  • Good historic information. Well laid out and maintained. Friendly staff.
  • If you are a keen aviator around the ages of your early/middle teens be prepared to be kicked out before you even go in, ridiculous policy which takes about five links to access on their website ,for even the most mature young aviators are not allowed to experience this museum like myself, staff where not supportive on even asking if we would like to be escorted around the museum, so check with the museum staff on age range entries!!!!!!
