  • Nice place generally, perhaps a bit crowded on occasions, but a nice place to do some casual shopping. Fresh and appealing, the balance between history and modernity is achieved seamlessly. From my own experience, everyone I took there has enjoyed it for what it is - a shopping outlet. I've been there with people from Germany, Norway, Portugal and UK and they all honestly felt good about the place. Not too big and not so small, with the occasional outdoor market, good restaurants and fast food too. Perhaps the only less positive thing I could say is that the Steam museum is a bit expensive for a large family, but still worth it.
  • There are so many designer brands here that's it often difficult to choose. Look up and see the history of this well converted industrial railway locomotive building shed. It is very busy at weekends and we find the best time to visit is 10am when it opens. Good coffee shops and some good restaurants.
  • A great selection of popular high street brands and food outlets. Lots of parking spaces, however can get very busy around the Christmas period. Within walking distance to town it's a great place to escape the rain and embark on a day of shopping with something for all the family. It's a great day out however can become a bit tedious when it's busy.
  • Its a good outlet centre, plenty of choice, the usual clothing plus house/kitchenwares jewellery. Architecturally more interesting than most as its in a converted rail works. Many options for food when you're there a while, and both a Costa and a Starbucks so however you take your poison you're covered.
  • Lovely experience visiting this place on a weekday, when it was uncrowded. Upgraded about 3 years ago, and it's far better now. Shopkeeper warned it is much busier on weekends, sometimes having to queue for 1 hour just to drive into or out of the car park.
