  • I have visited Stanton Park in Swindon on a number of occasions. It is a very pleasant country location and has a big lake, as well as several good walks.

  • Beautiful area. Lots of hard surfaces and well kept paths to walk on. Best to bring boots if it's wet. A few newly barked paths. Easy access to Stanton House Hotel for a coffee/coke.
  • One of the most beautiful natural parks of the region. You can enjoy the lakeside view and the forest footpaths. A cream tea at the Rosemary Restaurant of the Stanton House will complete the day out.
  • Well maintained, signed walks varying lengths. Great for dog walks, with woodland, open parkland and lakes. Nice little tea room open weekends.
  • Great area for walking with well marked trails. Excellent tea rooms serving lovely cakes, hot drinks, ice creams and squashes at ridiculously low prices!
  • A lovely area for walking, excellent footpaths and a delightful little cafĂ© and craft shop.
