  • I took my sister and her family here as a day out. I was rather surprised at the cost of entrance and do not feel we'd visit again. There was a tractor ride which was the best bit.  more »

  • Lovely family run farm with indoor and outdoor play areas. Inclusive tractor ride which our 2 year old loves and access to pet animals. There is plenty of space in the cafe and the toilets and baby change facilities are well thought out. The family stamp trail is a lovely walk. They have story time and singing for toddlers throughout the week which is lovely and adds to the personal feeling. We have been back a few times now and I am sure it won't be the last.
  • Brilliant place to take your children. It opens at 10am - 5pm. Loads of different things to do. A huge slide n go karting, climbing tower n a pit of balls, bouncy castle for your little ones. A cafe n loos. Loads of tables to eat at. Outside to the barns and saw the animals. At 2pm we had a tractor ride around the farm. There is another huge play area outside for older children.😊
  • Myself and my children visited on a school trip. The farm is of a good size and we did enjoy seeing the lovely newborn piglets. How sweet. The animals didn't seem too over petted like other farms do. My one and only complaint was the lady who was our guide for the morning, although very informative, was often rude (rolled her eyes, or told us what to do as if we were children ourselves) working with young children, you really can't have this kind of attitude. Otherwise, we had a fun day. Lots of play equipment for the children.
  • Went there today with the Mrs,10 year old daughter and our 4.5 month old son. Well, nearly £30 entry fee which I thought was expensive for walking around a farm looking at some animals. Apart from the pigs, piglets and the goats we did not think much at all regarding this place. Plenty of goats and pigs, everything else was a bit scarce really. We saw 4 turkeys, about 8-9 rabbits,3-4 guinea pigs, hens 6 I think, 2 donkey's , 2 Shetland ponies ,3 sheep and 1 Highland cow and it's calf. And the rat running around the barn. All that was done in about 25-30 in the two barns. The daughter had a good play about outside on the ropeslide and in the sand pit. We then went to see about the tractor ride to see we had missed it by a minute or so as it loading the person on the trailer as we walked around the corner and off it went, we asked about the next ride and told we would have to wait 1h 30 mins. We decided then to go to the bird of prey area. when we got there we were then told we had to pay extra for that part of the farm. JESUS as if we had'nt been screwed over already. There was no way we were going to pay extra on top of the £9.50 × 3 = £28.50 entrance fee. So we went for some food at the café. 1 latte in the smallest cup i have ever seen, 1 coke ,2 prices of cake and 1 little carton of ribena. Shocking. £12 for that. There was no activities,no animal petting or holding any rabbits or guinea pigs etc nothing...!!! U know it's time to go when kids are asking if we can go home now. There was more fun in the drive home than the time we spent at that place. If you want a nice day out with the family, do a nice picnic and follow one of the hundreds of lovely footpaths in our countryside and enjoy seeing it all for free.
  • Great fun for younger kids especially the den building in the woods and the tractor ride.
