  • It is a small museum. You can use free of charge. I saw the exhibition on the relationship between world war I and Swansea and exhibitions on jazz in Swansea. Exhibition place is not great. But many things were on display. Exhibition of children's rooms, there were a lot of people with children.

  • What a beautiful building. Small by museum standards, but beautiful. Whereas Cardiff museum is vast, spacious grand and modern, Swansea feels and smells like an older mustier building. Whilst Cardiff spreads exhibits out in its massive halls, Swansea displays as many as it can in the space available. Swansea Museum makes you feel like an explorer, sifting through the dusty and disparate curios, discovering antiquarian treasures for the first time. It FEELS old. I love that. And when we stumbled upon the Mummy I nearly peed with excitement. Go there. Even if you are a local who has never gone there. Be a tourist in your own home town. It's exciting, interesting and free. (Full disclosure: this assessment is based on a visit a few years back. Some things may have changed since then. Even so, go investigate. You won't be sorry)
  • Great place lots of exhibits nice staff home of Glamorgan young archaeologists club
  • Free family day out. Learn all history. Indoors if raining. Constant update of exchibitions. Return is a must.
  • As we are based with the Museum we are a bit biased. However. it is informational, fun and creative and we have many fun hours in there both before and after work.
  • Well worth a visit
