  • Went there expecting to see some plants... and did. Saw some animals too... that unexpected. It’s a good place if you to see some plants.  more »

  • Visited today. Gutted that the fish have gone and the monkey. The visit occupied my nephews for an hour or so and It was only £9 or so for 3 of us (1 adult 2 child). Slightly run down in the children area could do with updating but considering ongoing work there at the moment I am assuming that will change in near future. My nephews enjoyed nonetheless.
  • For the price you pay to get in this really is worth a visit. Plenty to look at and occupy children for about an hour or so - longer if you attend one of the workshops. Helpful and informative staff. Shame that the monkeys had been rehoused during our visit.
  • Great little place, was surprised with the animals and insects! Recommended!
  • A nice change to the usual scenery allowing you a glimpse into a part of the world most will never see. The is a wide variety of well established rainforest plants which emerses you in this far flung world. It's quite a small place that won't keep you much more than an hour (Perhaps 1 1/2 if you go to one of the live animal sessions which show spiders, snakes and amphibians up close). You can view terripins, piranha, snakes, lizards etc and an up close view of some exotic birds (Which are flying around the room which was nice). The price was reasonable, two adults and two kids for about £14 with an extra payment of about £4 per head for the live sessions so it's not too expensive if you want something to kill an hour or two and have a small budget.
  • Took the children round. They loved it. Little cafe too.
