  • This is a lovely little castle in The Mumbles and worth a visit. It is clean with walls to walk around and great views across Swansea Bay.  more »
  • A really lovely refurbishment of this 1000 year old castle. Enchanting history, beautiful setting and overlooking Swansea Bay. Is quite small and the kids can play all over it, but be careful not to s...  more »
  • Located at the end of a cul-de-sac the castle and its grounds are definitely worth a visit. I suggest exploring the castle (there is a small charge) and then sit on the grass bank opposite and enjoy a...  more »

  • Great cheap day out for the kids. Took about an hour and a half to walk round the whole castle kids loved it
  • Visited the castle two times. Single adult ticket, 3.50 pounds. Good parking around. Commanding views or Swansea bay. Very interesting. Good for families. But, due climbing up, within the castle, not for the very little one. Very recommended.
  • Very well preserved and interesting castle with spooky antechambers and beautiful views, spectacular from the battlements. Sweet little on-site giftshop run by a lovely couple.
  • Well worth £3.50 entry, brilliant castle deserves exploring. Really well reclaimed. Great views from the battlements make for good pics.
  • 48. Forty Eight years I have lived in Swansea, and 6 days ago it was really sunny so we went to mumbles castle. I honestly can't get over the sheer scale of the castle hiding in the small town of mumbles. Mumbles has always been amazing but now it's spectacular. Massive grounds for picnics, amazing views and a real feel of the castle. You can really have a glimpse back in time. I highly recommend it but parking is a nightmare. £3.50 adult I'm not sure on kids. Volunteers help run the castle called "friends of the castle" and a lovely young lady who works for swansea tourism is really helpful and pleasant.
