  • certainly worth visiting for anyone in the Swansea area and close to the city center . plenty to see there
  • Went with friends to the museum. Well worth a visit. Very enjoyable visit. It traces the history and development of south was through the last few hundred years. Great relaxing cafe there too
  • We forgot we had been here before a number of years ago, its still good for all the family and we enjoyed the information about the local area.

  • Love visiting this place. Fantastic interactive facilities & experience. Looking forward to going back there soon. THE WIFI WHICH IS MEANT TO BE FREE DOES NOT EVEN WORK. PLEASE IMPROVE
  • Fantastic place to learn a little about Welsh culture and history. Cafe was good and the information available to read was fantastic. Staff were brilliant and willing to answer all questions!
  • Masses to entertain three kids aged between 4 and 8. Fantastic interactive displays, free 'find it' trails for the kids, loads they're allowed to touch (rare for museums) and all FREE entry. What's not to like? Cafe offers good value food too. 👍
  • "Modern" museum that relies on electric gadgets and gimics most of which don't seem to work. Very few exhibits in the space that they have. What is there is disjointed poorly exhibited and explained. The display cases in the "network" exhibit have so many labels you can actually see the exhibits. Although the museum is free you get the sense that commercial interests are more important hence the entire ground floor of the old museum seemingly taken up with expensive cafes, and the staff dismantling most of the first floor marine exhibit to make room for I presume a wedding party. Can't spell local place names, frankly unforgivable. Wales has a fantastic maritime and industrial history which this museum totally fails to do justice too.
  • Always a nice place to take a look around, particularly if the weather is not too good. Lots of info about the industrial history of South Wales with many interactive displays. If you've been there previously then many of the displays are what's been seen before as they don't tend to change them. Best of all it's a free attraction. Also check out the book shop which has a good collection of local history books.
