  • We visited today to take advantage of the 'Pirate Week' as it is half term. We paid £24 entrance fee which we didn't mind but we had to pay a FURTHER £1.50 or £2.50 for each activity our children want...  more »

  • Plenty to see and do for kids. If you're in the area for more than a few days and the weather is a bit iffy, the season tickets are good value. Quite a lot of the attractions are outdoors, but there are covered and indoor areas also. The water wheel is impressive and it still drives the mill wheels & lathe most days.
  • This is a fabulous day out for toddlers and young children. We have been twice in two years as we are not local and would go again. The animals are well kept, the activities are engaging (especially the lady who tells stories, very exciting ) and the food is very good for the price.
  • Nice place. I was the bus driver and got given a free breakfast roll. That was nice. People seemed to of liked it. No complaints at all. :)
  • Bluegrass music festival very good as usual. Great selection of beers and cider. Take a picnic or buy food - your choice. Enjoyable as ever.
  • I saw the Welsh ukulele festival here, great atmosphere. Looking forward to the bluegrass festival in september
