Not as formal or as expensive as most hotels, many of Swansea's B&Bs are run by local families of Welsh speakers, who have a vast knowledge of South Wales and are more than willing to share it with their guests.   • This is the park where Dylan Thomas played as a child and described as an adult. Nice to see it still in use and so well maintained.  more »
  • This large well kept public park is located in the Swansea Uplands neighbourhood. There is a walking path that meanders throughout the inside perimeter of the park. Kids enjoy the playground, zip line...  more »
  • We visited Cwmdonkin Parc as we had some time to kill. Wow! It has different areas to investigate, play and have fun. Beautiful.  more »

  • Fabulous park. Lovely grounds. Good play areas. Good tennis courts (free!). Good kiosk selling snacks and drinks. Great for photography. Famous for being Dylan Thomas' local park.
  • One of the best parks in Swansea. Great play facilities for the kids. Lots of areas to explore, open spaces for team games. Great hot drinks and snacks,, reasonably priced, at the cafe and toilets, what more could a family want?
