  • While on holiday in dorset spent a good few hours here walking the cliffs and coastal path the views along paths are just stunning as was the wildlife with the best was a pair of peregrine falcons
  • We have a caravan in Swanage and walk here every time we use it. The food is very good but some may say a bit expensive. Great views from the terrace and scenic walks all around.
  • Its lovely to walk a long this park with its lovely views and odd items, such as a stone globe ... nice few hours!!

  • A fabulous country park that covers all of Durlston Head near Swanage. A number of good walks both within the park and along the coast. The globe is not to be missed and there are great views out to sea from the light house. The cafe / restaurant is very good and therefore popular. There are stunning views across to the Isle of White and past Peveril point and Swanage bay to Bournemouth. There are a number of picnic tables and benches scattered through the park if you fancy taking your own food. A good place for wildlife spotting especially birds and from time to time seals and dolphins.
  • New exhibition telling the history and giving essential facts. Good for kids and adults. Great walks and scenery. Find the famous Sutherland Globe. Only downside was finding the cafe closed 🔐 after a long walk along the coast path in the ☔
  • Superb views. Ideal start point for the coastal path. Excellent interactive fossil displays. Picnic area in the large grassy area. Restaurant is a bit upmarket and expensive and very limited choice. Parking charges. Probably best to get a £5 ticket for all day. Local bus service stops here. Excellent wheelchair access and you can borrow a heavy duty one to do the coast path.
  • Ideal spot for a walk along the Jurrasic Coast. The views are stunning. You have to pay for parking here, but entry to the castle is free. Castle has a little cafe which serves food; albeit a bit pricey but worth it for the scenery. Would recommend a visit here if you're in the area.
  • Fantastic place to visit. Lovely building, great walks, nice restaurant for food or just a drink. One of my favourite walks through to the lighthouse past the globe.
