  • Lovely walks and great for wild life.
  • Fun outdoor play area, some indoor play and good value gift shop.
  • It was a truly awful experience. It may be dog friendly but that doesn't apply if you are disabled and need a mobility scooter. I took a registered disabled lady and her little dog for an afternoon out to Rosliston Forestry Centre and it was a disaster. We were unaware that disabled people who need to use mobility scooters were not allowed to take dogs, (there was no notice stating this). Unfortunately, my friend was subjected to an embarassing episode when an elderly man with a pony tail, ( we later discovered that he was the manager, )came running after my her shouting that the mobility scooter cost £6000 and she couldn't take her dog her dog when using it. We were shell shocked, I still am. When the mobility scooter was returned, we had yet another episode of his rudeness. Be warned if you are disabled and need a mobility scooter, you are not allowed to take your dog, however small and well behaved it is. It would seem that Rosliston Forestry Centre is not Disabled friendly
  • Good for a day out with a picnic.
