  • Lovely walks and grassy areas . Canal next to Furnace , Conkers nearby, little cafe free parking great for kids to play

  • Old blast furnace and canal with walks by the canal and site. You can get a boat trip and vusit the museum. Great for picnics and cycling.local pub and loads of cycle ways. Free parking why not try.
  • Small but great piece of local history and linked nicely to the local community history. Must visit if you live anywhere nearby
  • We went to the park for a bit. The bin near the toddler play area had spilled over all onto the path, it's not the first time it's been that way. One of the sit on springy ride has gone but with a possibly dangerous piece of metal sticking out. It just seems a bit run down compared to how it was a few years ago.
  • Really interesting and a good place to visit
  • Nice place to go for a stroll
