  • We visited here in late autumn, we live only a few miles away but never knew it was there. There are some truly amazing trees here and it is our intention to visit here in each season to see the chang...  more »
  • What a wonderful surprise this place is. I've driven past the signs loads of times, but this time there was a big AA sign pointing to 'Autumn colours'. And what colours there were. There are small tre...  more »
  • Lovely friendly staff helped us park and greeted us. I bought an adult annual ticket, kids go free! We spent about an hour around the arboretum. My two are 13 and 10 and once disconnected from their p...  more »
  • Do you like trees? Rare trees? Beautiful trees?! Then this is a real treat. There's a little road noise which can't be helped but otherwise a beautifully kept and organised collection, lovely staff, and a fab toilet In a shed! 9 acres and nursery
  • I've never visited, but I ordered a couple of plants from them. I got a phonecall when they were packed and dispatched, they were well packed and secure, and the plants themselves look good. They're a good size from the price, and one of them I was struggling to find anywhere else. Highly recommended.
  • Really relaxing place. The trees are beautiful and the natural setting helps you appreciate their beauty more. Well worth a visit.
  • The arboretum is well laid out, with really well documented trees. I don't think I have ever seen such detail on the information boards for each tree - practical and interesting facts about the tree, how it was named, what the wood is used for, who "discovered" it and so on. Also.sime spectacular autumn colour from Acers and liquidamber.
  • Lovely wander round with some amazing trees. Don't go at weekends though. Small car park.
