  • Loved this adventure. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable and they were never far away if we had a question. The personal tour of the main light itself was great and we even got to spin the carousel (which floats very nicely for being several tons in weight). The cafe was great for a quick bite or coffee/tea and there is plenty of space outside to run around if you have kids.
  • Lovely cliff-top walks and spectacular lighthouse which you can visit for a fee. Small but decent cafe with nice staff - gluten-free food is available (the scones are lovely but best to ring in advance so they can put you some by). Be warned - car park is free but closes at 6pm even in mid-summer - you WILL be locked in overnight (as we were once!)
  • Good walks along the coast from here and good for fishing people I've been told.
  • A lovely day out with great views along the coast. Friendly, helpful and informative staff. Kids loved the kite festival.
  • It's got good views and its good for a quiet cuppa after
