  • We love coming back here as we were married here in 2010. Great little restaurant, plenty of displays which change regularly and great views over the river down to the sea. My little boy loves the gla...  read more »
  • The demonstrations of how they make, shape and colour the glass are excellent and very educational. There is a good gift shop and a cafe too with plenty of free parking. Well worth a visit.
  • Myself and my partner enjoyed a great day out. The exhibits are very well presented and very interesting. And the demonstrations which are on at regular intervals are very well presented would recomme...  read more »
  • Free entry. Watch demos of glassblowing, view showcases full of local glass making items, see artists creating intricate glass objects or dine in the large restaurant before stepping outside which overlooks the river and view items on the sculpture trail.
  • What a great place! Hired out the hot shop facilities for a day. The equipment was top notch and the staff had it all ready set up and ready to go. Very friendly and helpful, particularly Christine, Ian and Tim. I was also pleasantly surprised to see that my friend Jeff Zimmers beautiful work was on exhibit in the gallery space upstairs. I would definitely encourage others to check it out for a family day out or to use the facilities. I intend to use it again in the future.
  • Been here both the centre itself and a conference/awards evening. Lovely venue.
  • The exhibitions never change, but it's always worth looking in to see the glass work. Don't go on the glass roof without proper undergarments
  • Great demonstrations of glass blowing, food section needs new staff who actually care!
