  • Very interesting in lovely old setting. The history of the house and it's connections to Gainsborough also very interesting.
  • Fascinating story about one of England's most famous painters. Plans are afoot to create a new museum next door which will really put Sudbury on the map in 2020.
  • The house and garden where Thomas Gainsborough grew up until he was 13. A good range of portraits, few landscapes and on the day I visited an extra exhibition of French artists of the same period
  • Nice little museum with nice garden which would be nice place for a tea or coffee but no longer has cafe...
  • Not very good. Not worth the money
  • Beautiful little museum, gorgeous garden, lovely shop.
  • Gainsborough's house is a great piece of history and is a wonderful, cheap place to go with family and/or friends. It looks small from the outside but there is a lot to do and alot to walk around on inside. The artwork is beautiful and I would recommend it.
