Theme Park Water / Amusement Park
Kids of all ages drive mini land rovers and operate heavy machinery at Diggerland. Built by the largest construction equipment supplier in England, machines are the essence of this new style of theme park. Play with the gigantic toys to complete a variety of games, such as moving small objects or tons of dirt. In addition, there are other more typical theme park attractions, such as a safari, sky tower, and merry-go-round. Many rides require heights over 90 cm (35 in), so very young children are limited to the play areas and sandpits of the park. • Amazing experience, great concept. My son aged 4 and absolutely mad about diggers, dumpers, anything with a bucket and 4 wheels. This was like dream land to him. The staff here are amazing and a credit to Diggerland. We came for my sons 4th birthday and travelled around an hour. We were greeted by some really friendly staff and some characters dressed as builders with high 5s on entry. My son was at the height where he could virtually go on 90 percent of the rides and at 4 years old that is a bonus. There is also plenty to do for the adults. 8 of us had lunch in the cafe, the food was good quality cafe style food. Something for everyone, even for the vegetarians. Also my son dropped his plate and as i was about to buy another plate of food for him, the staff kindly gave us another on the house. The soft play is really great and you could spend an hour in there if the queues and rides get too much. In summary, kid friendly activities, adult friendly activities and friendly welcoming staff! We had a great day out today!
  • Fantastic day out! Kids and adults had so much fun! Was there when it opened until it closed and still didn't get to do everything! Any excuse to go back! The restaurant was very reasonably price as was the gift shop- children's wellys only £6! All staff very helpful and polite! Can not wait to go back!
  • Excellent choice for family trip. Prebooked with vouchers at a handy discount. Some rides could have been a bit cleaner. Felt safe in every seat.
  • Took my 2 year old as he loves diggers/cars etc. Even though he was free as his under 90cm he couldn't go on absolutely nothing. £20 for adults to do nothing but to look at diggers and walk around. Should have just taken him to a building site. Waste of money!
  • Went to diggerland yesterday, and was very disappointed, half of the activities were not all working, i.e they only had 1 working when there were 3 machines there, when asked the staff member on the ride why he said we are only using one today, considering it was a busy weekend. not work the 19.95 paid as only stayed for a couple of hours defiantly wouldn't go again.
