Inspirock Rating:
4.2/5 based on 550+ reviews on the web
Kids of all ages drive mini land rovers and operate heavy machinery at Diggerland. Built by the largest construction equipment supplier in England, machines are the essence of this new style of theme park. Play with the gigantic toys to complete a variety of games, such as moving small objects or tons of dirt. In addition, there are other more typical theme park attractions, such as a safari, sky tower, and merry-go-round. Many rides require heights over 90 cm (35 in), so very young children are limited to the play areas and sandpits of the park. • It is really good for little kids. People should go there a lot because it's really fun and a good day out. I liked the twirly cars best and so I went on them ten times. I drove the police car myself ...  read more »

  • My son is 4.5 and daughter 8, and they both loved their time here. There really is plenty to do for the day. Lunch was fine and a good selection available at reasonable prices. Toilets were getting a ...  read more »
  • Surprisingly good fun. Its like the health and safety executive had the day off and repurposed JCBs into a playground. What was surprising was that most of the dads liked it as much as the kids. And that applied to girls as well. Look for vouchers online to get a bit of discount on the entry fee.
  • Great day out, so much to do. CafĂ© is awesome, they will have something on the menu for every kid (no matter how picky ) and it is great value for money. The park is well maintained and the staff all genuinely seem to enjoy working there. Can't wait to go again with my two year old and four year old.
  • Really good day out and good value for money. My 5 year old nephews loved operating all the diggers and plant and I was surprised not only by how much of it they were allowed to use unsupervised but also how good at it most young children seemed to be. The young at heart won't be disappointed either, there's something very satisfying about scooping up a big bucket full of dirt with your JCB and then dumping it from a great height. Staff were all friendly and helpful, the food in the cafe was good and fairly priced and parking is free. We had a lot of fun and it wasn't like a lot of theme parks where you feel like they have tried to empty your wallet at every opportunity. Have a look on the web for vouchers before you visit, we easily found 20% discount print off vouchers.
  • A great place to visit. We used Tesco club card vouchers to cover the entrance fee. We got there early and it was quite busy but after a short que we were in. They have some diggers which are fun for kids. Rides you can go on with them and also height and age restricted rides for example off road driving and a Very large digger which spins round about 50ft high fast. Also includes an indoor play area and an area for eating. We travelled from Lancashire and it was worth the trip.
  • Took my 2 year old so knew he couldn't go on everything as too small, advised he could go on around half of things but what they don't tell you is 3 of those rides are the same but picking up different things so once they have been on one they dont want to go on it again as it's the same. Real waste of money. Loads of the extra coin operated rides didn't work and the place was generally run down.
