Kids of all ages drive mini land rovers and operate heavy machinery at Diggerland. Built by the largest construction equipment supplier in England, machines are the essence of this new style of theme park. Play with the gigantic toys to complete a variety of games, such as moving small objects or tons of dirt. In addition, there are other more typical theme park attractions, such as a safari, sky tower, and merry-go-round. Many rides require heights over 90 cm (35 in), so very young children are limited to the play areas and sandpits of the park. Our first visit to Diggerland Kent this year, as always a great day out. The staff as always were brilliant with my 2 children. I love the way they speak to them and interact whilst waiting. They are ... more »
At first glance a theme park based around diggers may seem a bit of a strange concept, but it's an idea which works brilliantly. The park caters for all ages (and genders) with a number of digger and site plant related rides and hands on attractions. Whether you're a small child who likes sit on rides, an older child who wants to experience driving a real car or a child of any age who wants to handle a real digger, the park won't disappoint. There is even a large soft play area, sand pit, canteen, dodgems and picnic tables for when the diggers get to much! The only slight criticism I can come up with is that the the age restrictions can limit the number is rides that children can experience, and I hope that will be addressed soon as more are added. Overall, however, Diggerland is a great attraction for children of all ages!
A fantastic day. My 3 year old boy had the time of his life. Smaller than I thought but for good reasons. Meant that he could happily walk everywhere. Food was extortionate so take a picnic but gifts were very reasonably priced. Don't hesitate to go.
Wonderful place for a day out with your family. A good number of rides, most of which are free for visitors, which can be enjoyed by both kids and grown-ups. You get to try digging with real excavators. Things can get muddy if the weather is not dry. There is a restaurant/cafe with wide choice of food and drinks, a playing area for toddlers, and a store. Beautiful location with parking lot and accessible premises.
Had a fantastic day out with the family, this is our second time to Diggerland. There is lots of fun rides and a few new ones since our last visit, I would recommend Diggerland to anyone for a great day out for all the family.
This was our first visit and we were not disappointed, there was plenty to do, it was spaced well without there being too far to go to get to each ride, there was a good variety too. The cafe was very reasonably priced and had a good selection. The indoor play area was clean and warm. Would definitely recommend.
