Diggerland, Strood

4.3
#1 of 7 in Theme Parks in Kent
Kids of all ages drive mini land rovers and operate heavy machinery at Diggerland. Built by the largest construction equipment supplier in England, machines are the essence of this new style of theme park. Play with the gigantic toys to complete a variety of games, such as moving small objects or tons of dirt. In addition, there are other more typical theme park attractions, such as a safari, sky tower, and merry-go-round. Many rides require heights over 90 cm (35 in), so very young children are limited to the play areas and sandpits of the park. Stuff are friendly. Diggerland is reasonably priced and fun for everyone, drive thru mud in a bobcat, go on safari in a 4x4 or hook a duck with a mini digger. Everyone had fun, including parents. The ...  more »

Exceeded our expectations... Who would have thought you could get so many rides out of converted diggers?! Our 5 year old loved it as he could go on every ride, and many drive himself as he is above 1...  more »

Very good family day out, loved by the whole family (boys & girls a like) Lots of fun rides, most of which are suitable for 2-3 year old plus. Tesco vouchers make the visit more affordable.  more »

  • This place was one of the most memorable places for my 7 yrs old daughter. She was in seventh heaven. The 360 digger ride helped her face her fear for rides. She was very very excited. We had a really really nice day out there. The cafeteria is having a very good selection of warm meals. Great place.
  • Great for families with kids older than 4-5 years old. But naturally it makes sense that most of the machinery doesn't cater for the younger. Great day out with plenty to do. It's somewhat pricey but it's worth it.
  • Great day out, kids can use the majority of diggers and rides, if not required height they can sit on your lap and still operate diggers. We all had a great day and will go again. Short queues. Staff are amazing, pleasant, happy, helpful and are a credit to their employer.
  • We loved it here, not very big but excellent, not much queue time so could go on things over and over again. Staff are a credit to this place as they couldn't do anymore for you and exceptionally polite. 😁
  • Amazing experience, great concept. My son aged 4 and absolutely mad about diggers, dumpers, anything with a bucket and 4 wheels. This was like dream land to him. The staff here are amazing and a credit to Diggerland. We came for my sons 4th birthday and travelled around an hour. We were greeted by some really friendly staff and some characters dressed as builders with high 5s on entry. My son was at the height where he could virtually go on 90 percent of the rides and at 4 years old that is a bonus. There is also plenty to do for the adults. 8 of us had lunch in the cafe, the food was good quality cafe style food. Something for everyone, even for the vegetarians. Also my son dropped his plate and as i was about to buy another plate of food for him, the staff kindly gave us another on the house. The soft play is really great and you could spend an hour in there if the queues and rides get too much. In summary, kid friendly activities, adult friendly activities and friendly welcoming staff! We had a great day out today!
