Trip Planner: Europe / UK / England / Greater Manchester / Trafford / Stretford / Sightseeing / Old Trafford
Manchester United, one of the most popular soccer clubs in the world, makes its home at Old Trafford stadium. Constructed in 1920 with a capacity of almost 80,000, the stadium holds the title of second largest soccer stadium in England. While match tickets can be quite expensive, booking online in advance will help ensure the best price. To get a sense of the history of Old Trafford and a look behind the scenes at otherwise off-limit areas, like the players’ changing rooms, take a stadium tour and visit the state-of-the-art interactive museum. Due to the club's fame, book your tour in advance. For an extra-special experience, take a "Unique Tour," where you cruise to the stadium on a canal barge before taking part in the regular stadium tour. Stop by the megastore before leaving to pick up a jersey and other team souvenirs. Before you head to Stretford, plan trip itinerary details with our user-friendly Stretford vacation builder, to make sure you see all that Stretford has to offer, including Old Trafford.

Theatre of Dreams, a home of football. This place really lives up to its name. You don't need to become a United fan to understand how this place means so much to some. The atmosphere is something that you will never forget. You will see a lot of people that came from all over the place to watch the game. I went for a couple of matches and stadium tour and the experience was amazing. Their staffs were very friendly and you can see their devotion to Manchester United. However, the Red Cafe is quite overpriced. A must visit place in Manchester. You will have a good time here. (Disclaimer: This review does not apply to Liverpool and Manchester city fans)
I went to guided tour with my boyfriend who is a huge Manchester United fan. It was his birthday present and he absolutely loved it. Even me who is not a football fan really enjoyed it. Our tour guide Don was excellent and it was all very well organized. I can really recommend it. It is a remarkable stadium.
The home of the greatest team ever! We love it every time we go. The best part is that it has great disabled facilities which are due to become even better this summer. I take my disabled son in his wheel chair and there are always stewards around to help and the facilities are first class.
The Theatre of dreams aka the Mecca of Football. Not just a stadium but a living soul in itself. House of Manchester United Football Club. The place is well organized, beautifully structured and extremely well maintained. A visit here is like making a dream come true. Football at its best
Is great! Such inspiring place and once in a lifetime for me. Surreal to actually be here and a must stop on my trip to England! History is made in these grounds
