intu Trafford Centre, Stretford

(4.2/5 based on 2,000+ reviews on the web)
With hundreds of different stores, intu Trafford Centre is the second largest shopping center in the United Kingdom. It also houses the UK's busiest cinema and Europe's largest food court. The mall features an unorthodox style of architecture--it's definitely not a generic shopping mall! The 1930s-themed, 1,600-seat eating area, incorporates designs from China, New Orleans, Egypt, and Italy. There are four main areas located across two floors: Peel Avenue, Regent Crescent, The Dome, and The Orient. The design allows equal access for visitors from both sides of the mall. • The Trafford Centre is really worth a visit if you are in Manchester. It to go around and look at the Center's architecture is an experience in itself. One feels one has come to a different country. In addition, it is probably a good idea to have filled up your wallet, for here it is incredibly many nice shops! Hold of a whole day-at least.

  • This place is massive and packed to the brim with many designer shops and outlets. Plenty to see and do while you are here, very easy to spend the entire day here shopping, eating and catching a film at the odeon multiplex. Parking here normally is not a problem as they have lots of parking available however at major times in the year or sales you will find the car parking can be more difficult. Easy to get to off the motorway
  • Never been here before and I found it very nice. Went here to go to the sea life centre. Plus polar bear expedition at Christmas and also the ice skating rink. It's a lovely place for activities and shows they put on. Great for children and adults
  • This place is huge and there's something for everyone. There's a great selection of fine indoor restaurants and a separate food court for quicker meals. There is plenty of parking but it can get quite cramped during peak hours, unless you don't mind parking far away from the shops and walking.
  • I'm not local (live in Scotland) but I've been making a point of going here from almost since it opened nearly 20 years ago. It's just amazing, I love it. Lots to do, great selection of food, and a bigger range of lovely shops. If you've never been, give it a go, you won't regret it.
  • At the Trafford Centre you always get a first class shopping experience. The selection of top name shops are excellent, and it even boasts entertainment such as a cinema, crazy golf and a Laser Quest. The choice of restaurants is also quite vast, as well as a food court on the bottom floor. The only problem is its location on the urban fringe, making it quite inaccessible, especially on public transport.
