I went here quite regularly many years ago (probably as many as 20 years ago!) but it is much improved. It is located in Trafford Park not far from the Trafford Centre. The karts are more refined with... more »

Where do I start, this has been positively the best go carting experience I have ever come across having been across Europe at various go carting venues. The service was outstanding from the moment we got there. Five of us were on a stag from London and having got there at 5pm for a 5.30 briefing everything went smoothly. The racing suits were still warm from being laundered and were very comfortable. Clean balaclava and even the standard gloves were clean and fit for purpose. There was secure lockers and trustworthy friendly staff to look after valuables and the briefing session was very professional. They even let us use the whole circuit and were very accommodating. The carts were very responsive and I felt very safe at all times. We all had a thrilling time and the fastest lap competition was exhilarating. The detailed race analysis sheet after was very clear and added that finishing touch to a great event. Great value too so cannot fault anything. Would definitely recommend and would love to do it again. Keep up the good work Daytona!!!🏁🏁🏎🏎👏🏽👏🏽
Just visited this place 17/09/2016. first impressions of the place was great, very well organized, clean, polite staff. They quickly rush you through all the check in and give you outfit and ask you to sign in etc. All nice and simple then they put us in a room for a 5 minutes briefing where they play a movie and left the room. The film came across more to me & my friends as a TV advert campaign then a instruction briefing it was poorly made I think it would be best done by a person who you could fire questions at. The video showed you the track layout explaining to use the brake for better driving tips etc all fine... no mention of blue flag only yellow/black flag. There wasn't a period where there was a member of staff on hand in the room to ask him questions he simply just put it on and left the room, came back when finished then said to go upstairs to watch a bit of racing that's going on at the moment "we will call you to pit-lane when ready" AGAIN no members of staff around to ask questions during spectating not even on the bar. During our time upstairs on the balcony we noticed the staff waving blue flags. We were all left confused about blue flag as we weren't told about it in the briefing only the yellow flag to say don't pass anybody & reduce speed. I presumed it was a sin bin flag like black flag that was mentioned or something wrong with your vehicle. It wasn't long before we were called down to pit lane. So we got our helmets on and put in karts. The 5 minute qualifying lap started. There was a pileup in the first few laps and I ending up crashing into the pile up wedging my kart into the barrier so I was rendered paralyzed until someone came and pulled me out. This meaning everyone had gone past me lapping me. So obviously I got the worst time meaning I started last. This is totally not fair and people should of been made to wait until I got back on the TRACK totally destroying my qualifying time by left stationary!!!!!! So the race begins am starting last obviously because of the pileup which is totally unfair. Then during racing I past the car ahead of me meaning now I was a place in front then I gets blue flagged and they waving blue flags at me so I slow right down for a lap to see if they were pointing at me so I pulls into the pit lane to ask whats a matter. They said "what's a matter have you had enough of racing" I said no you waved a blue flag at me and they explained what it was at this point and pushed me back on the track so I could complete the race but AGAIN by this time people had lapped me for a good few rounds. Overall experience of the place could be better. Video could be better, Staff could be on hand to answer questions. My understanding of the blue flag was wrong obviously but if you had explained it to my friends I wouldn't of slowed down during one lap letting people past me and pulling into the pit lane for a further few laps. I ended up starting at last place then the pit lane incident i had no chance of racing it's just terrible wouldn't recommend this company at all purely for the briefing before hand not to any of my followers on social media or company page & business connections. You've belittled me in front of my friends. I wanted a good day racing which I spent most of the time doubting myself with flags raised. The actual karts were fantastic can't fault the equipment, performance nothing all satisfactory other then the flag issue that needs seriously mentioned to all customers as this has caused me to have a poor time at your track. I would love for you to review the footage and get back to me my email address is email@example.com
Great Karting company event, well organised with good quality equipment
The venue itself is decent enough and the staff I encountered were friendly enough however my race experience was spoilt by the overwhelming petrol fumes. I have worked in garages and never had this problem. This needs looking at.
Disgusting service. This place is for kids, they do not take racing seriously whatsoever. They make the rules up as they go along and do not penalise drivers equally! If you want to take you 12-year old daughter racing then great, if you want a serious racing experience do not go to Daytona. Carts are all different speeds and you will not get a fair representation of your driving skills! Staff are also rude, arrogant, unfriendly, and unhelpful.
