  • A glimpse of the lives of the wealthy at the time of Shakespeare. Some statues of wax in clothes would have made everything more living however.

  • A very well-maintained local point of interest. The top floor houses temporary exhibitions which are not necessarily Shakespeare related, but is also very interesting and topical. The garden is quite relaxing and a great place to view the house from the outside in its entirety.

  • A little away from the centre but maybe the most interesting interior of any of the Shakespeare-related buildings in town, with a large peaceful garden. The home of Shakespeare’s daughter and grand-daughter.
