  • Brilliant day at the Cotswold Distillery. Alison, our guide took us on a very interesting & informative tour of the whole process. The introductory film was slick, so interesting and not the usual slightly boring voice over you often get on tours. The tastings after were fun and very generous and at no point were we hurried along. We arrived early and had lunch in the cafe which was an absolute pleasure. Possibly the hottest day of the year when we visited and one if the best days out ! We stayed at the Norman Knight in Whichford so were able to walk there and back and wound thoroughly recommend that too. Would love to go back one day.
  • Alison was superb! She explained the entire process with absolute knowledge and a chuckle along the way. The site is beautiful, clean and fresh. The shop is very tempting and the tasting is extremely high percentage! Drivers are able to take away. Tea shop with extraordinarily huge cakes also. A truly lovely experience worth every single star.
  • This was our second visit, and this time we went on a tour of the distillery, which was informative, interesting, and included a tasting session. The distillery makes several whiskies and numerous gins, all of which you can taste. The Cotswold Dry Gin is the best I've tasted and is now my favourite. I would also recommend the Summer Cup and the Ginger Gin, which took me by surprise as I am not particularly a ginger fan, but this gin is lovely and smooth. The staff are very helpful, and the shop is well stocked. Tha cafe is also welcoming, relaxing and boasts an open fire, which I imagine will be lovely in winter. Highly recommend.
  • Tour and Tasting Experience. Really enjoyed the tour and tasting experience. Stella was very knowledgeable and a great host. The tour starts with a 10 minute video, followed by a visit to the stills in the distillery and the whisky warehouse, which smells amazing, and you get to peep through the windows at the bottling and labelling. After that it’s into the tasting room where you have a decent size sample of the original gin and whisky, followed by as many small samples of any of the other bottled varieties as you want to taste. Drivers received a soft drink and could take home all of their samples in little disposable pots so no missing out. Only problem was deciding which bottles to buy as there were so many we liked. One bottle we wanted wasn’t in stock at the distillery but we were able to pick one up at the shop in Broadway which we visited the next day. We finished our visit with a cuppa and slice of cake in the cafe which was excellent. Be warned, the cake slices are enormous. Highly recommend this experience if you like gin and/or whisky.
  • We visited today for a surprise birthday treat. Our tour guides Alison and Stella were so welcoming from the moment we stepped into the distillery. The tour was completed with ease, so much information shared and then onto the best bit… the TASTING! What a fantastic selection and opportunity to taste all The Cotswold Distillery has to offer in our own time, with background of creation provided and genuine opinions on preferences to guide us through. The setting is idyllic. Would highly recommend to anyone thinking of booking.
