  • We arrived about 11am, there wasn't many people about and had to ask for children to go on ride (not maned and not obvious the ride was open) there was filming going on so perhaps that was why. Childr...  more »
  • Always been poor but going on a quiet day shows how bad this place is. Filthy and unsafe, like a day out at a landfill site. I was told by staff that the roller coaster does not run on wet days as the...  more »
  • What a dirty , scruffy , dated place. The place is strewn with rubbish, old bits of carpet and astro turf, broken brickwork and cables. How on earth this place is allowed to dominate the riverside is ...  more »

  • This fair takes you back to your childhood as all fairs do. Rides and fair are dated but plenty of people still enjoying themselves and paying out to go on them. You pay for rides using tokens. We purchased 10 tokens for £5 which gave our 7 year old 3 rides. We used the 2p machines in the arcade, used £1 and got a few prizes from the machine and the tokens it dispensed. Better than other places. My daughter was very happy with her stash. Always a pound well spent. Be sure to visit the marina immediately behind the fair. It's like a different world - pretty, peaceful and with several good places to stop for a cuppa and a bite to eat - try the windless or olivers cafe.
  • Very busy over the Bank Holidays.. Very expensive too. Best time to visit is after 1600hrs when the crowd's filter down. A nice afternoon out with the family followed up with fish & chip's eating by the River Seven.
  • There seems to be more attractions here than there used to be. Would like to see it get modernised slightly.
  • Would have had 5 stars if parking was free.
  • A lovely place for kids and adults with lots of rides, food and a Shipleys. Had lots of fun
