  • Lovely atmosphere. Pleasant and interesting surroundings. Good menu. Helpful and friendly staff
  • Great place to visit. Wonderful glass on display and watching the glass blowing is amazing. A great example of local history preserved in an snagging building and great walks along the canal if the sun is shining.
  • The review is for the Red House Glass Cone and its cafe. The centre is great if you are interested in glass and I am. It is part of the historic Stourbridge Glass Quarter and was built at the end of the 18th century. and is situated on the canals. It is the only glass manufacturing cone remaining in the UK. As well as learning more about glass and seeing craftspeople at work, there are also events scheduled through their year. The onsite cafe sells coffee, teas, hot chocolate and homemade cakes and snacks.
  • Well worth a visit not only to see inside the cone but also the glass and craft shops surrounding it - free parking opposite site too and a nice cafe for a cake and a cuppa !
  • Visited the Red Cone while attending the International Festival of Glass. The Red Cone complex itself is good, but the coffee and fruit cake at the cafĂ© were very poor quality. The americano I bought was so weak it was undrinkable and the cake was dry and very disappointing.
