For a start entrance price is much less than a similar National Trust property. Parham feels lived in and owes almost everything you see including contents to the devoted restoration carried out by Cl... more »

I had never heard of this house before visiting and am surprised about that. It's an amazing house built in the 1500's and rescued by a dedicated family. The extensive gardens alone are well worth a v... more »

Love the setting and gardens great to visit but latest visit a bit too early as not much in the beds to see! Some sections were being replanted. I look forward to going in a few weeks when more to see. The cafe is really nice for lunch and the garden shop worth a visit.
The most beautiful minor stately home in England. It's not so big that it is exhausting, but still very grand and full of treasures, and there is never a crush because it is such a well kept secret. As someone who visited a stately home every weekend with the family through the 1970s when we were all avid supporters of the National Trust etc I have to say that you can keep Wilton and Blenheim and Chatsworth. I prefer Parham. There is a real sense of magic in the air
Beautiful gardens and grounds. Views of south downs are stunning. The little church is beautiful. The main house is worth going round it's stunning and the old kitchen. Worth every penny
Interesting house and beautiful gardens. Worth visiting at different times of the year to see the change of seasonal planting. Staff friendly and helpful.
Lovely place to take a walk in the gardens with the family. Plenty of room for the kids to run around. Staff helpful and friendly
