  • We went to go and see a family film here, and came across a busy bar/restaurant., a bookshop, and really helpful staff. The views across the Stornoway harbour and bay cap it all off. Well worth seeing...  more »
  • The reporting of the Lonely Planet Guide directed us in our tour of Stornoway, towards this Multipurpose Center, architecturally beautiful, and it was a short but pleasant digression. Everything is tasteful, and judging from the menu and from what we saw around us the bar-restaurant is good (and offers alternatives for vegetarians, which around here can't hurt), as is the part of exhibition and sale of local handicrafts of quality (which is pricey, but what isn't in Scotland?). Beautiful also the lower parts with the auditorium for cinema and theatre (but, alas, these days the task is suspended for a short period of vacation).
