  • Amazing place to go if you like birds of prey An amazing display of flying 3 times a day And a fair price to pay
  • Very interesting and informative visit to Suffolk Owl Sanctuary. We were very privileged to be allowed a brief look inside the hospital and staff offices. Met Rocky the cutest little vulture you're likely to come across. Very Glad to hear about their involvement with breeding programmes with other organisations, and the welfare work they carry out on injured birds bought in to them for rest and recuperation. Overall very impressed.
  • Really good experience and very good for the entry fee, £7.50 for adults. Lots to see, loads of birds either tethered or in aviaries, wide range of birds of prey, owls, kestrels, Hawks, Falcons, Eagles and buzzards among others. The display was excellent, four handlers showed a range of birds, kestrel, red kites, barn owl and buzzard. Especially good was the dual red kite display. The four handlers were knowledgeable, clear to understand and funny, they kept it light but also very informative. They obviously care deeply about these birds and put on a great show. The sanctuary also has a children's play area and meerkats, red squirrels and rabbits which we didn't get to see due to time constraints. Well worth a visit. Good fun. Impressive birds on display and all very well kept in good environment.
  • Another great day at SOS,a large selection of owls, eagles and other birds of prey, and some enjoyable and informative shows with Matt and Harry, though I sure they will agree, the birds are the stars of the show!.G ood to see lots of improvement work going on with new aviaries etc. Thanks to Maz for letting us see the young owls born this year, see you all again soon !
  • Visited on the 28th May. Had a fab time, and will definitely visit again. Very friendly staff, especially harry, Matt and Demi. Well laid out, very clean. Amazing birds!!
  • Great for Owl lovers! There are other shops around the site to look at and a large cafe. Stonham Barns host other events, so watch out for other things going on too.
